ArtBarrage.com presents FreeHand, a contemporary art auction event to support the WarChild initiatives. Advance bidding takes place online, culminating in an exciting live event at 99 Sudbury St., Toronto on November 8, 2011.
FreeHand: an art auction for War Child features 50 artworks from local and international artists. Proceeds from the sale of artworks and after party will benefit War Child, an award winning charity that provides humanitarian assistance to war-affected children in some of the most devastated regions of the world.
The selection of artists curated by Kelly McCray and Walter Willems includes Sara Angelucci, Janet Bellotto, Kotama Boubane, Stephen Brookbank, Russell Brohier, Paul Butler, Colin Carney, Scott Everingham, Elle Flanders & Tamira Sawatzky, James Fowler, Eldon Garnet, Michelle Gay, David Grenier, Heather Graham, Noel Harding, Sherri Hay, Catherine Heard, Mark Laliberte, Sue Lloyd, Dyan Marie, Andrew McPhail, John Monteith,Tibi Tibi Neuspiel, John Nobrega, Anne O’Callaghan, Anders Oinonen, Luke Painter, Camilla Singh, Meera Margaret Singh, Natalie Waldburger, Jacob Yerex and Liberty Village's own resident artist Paul Wysmyk among others.
